SUNSET is a sculpture by Mike Rijnierse and Ludmila Rodrigues. The work subverts the iconic image of the sun sinking into the horizon by freezing the phenomenon of disappearance and rendering it visible at 360 degrees. SUNSET creates a contemplative and disturbing experience that invites for a reflection on time and image production. It questions the urge to capture and share images through our contemporary devices.
